Performer
- Gabriel-Vincent Deslauriers
- Graduated from the Department of Dramatic Arts at Université de Moncton in 2023, Gabriel-Vincent participated that same year in the filming of the TV series En Résidence and Mont-Rouge as well as the show Ubu Roi. In 2024, he played in the second season of Garde Partagée and won the Martin Saulnier professionalization grant. In 2025, he reprised his role in Fahrenheit 451, appeared in several productions with Le Pays de la Sagouine, and played in Les Émeutiers by the Théâtre Populaire d'Acadie. At the same time, he brought Sam SiXmoineauX, orthogaffeur! by author Danielle Loranger, published by Bouton d’Or Acadie, to the stage. Present at Le Pays de la Sagouine in the summer of 2025, as well as at the Edmunston and Péninsule Acadienne book fairs, he taught young people how to have fun with spelling. For the past two years, Gabriel-Vincent has also been working with other emerging artists to develop Le Cahier. This theater collective has enabled them to create their first play, Bubble Gum by Mara Saulnier, which will be produced in collaboration with the Théâtre Populaire d'Acadie in the spring of 2026. Keen to create art that is accessible to all, he will be attending École Philippe Gaulier in France this winter to further develop his method. He hopes to develop a technique that transcends language and cultural barriers.
