The creation of a Lumina Night Walk at Le Pays de la Sagouine constitutes the first step of a large-scale project that will help pave the way for the next 30 years. This project is made possible by a significant investment by the federal and provincial governments last summer; the immersive experience is the first of many projects resulting from the investment which will ensure the Pays’ future as a tourism destination.
Lumina Night Walks are unique immersive experiences bringing to life a site's natural charm. The adventure engages the public, inviting them to take part in a narrative experience that combines light, projections, special effects, sound, and original music.
The conception of the Pays de la Sagouine Lumina Night Walk is inspired by the Acadian culture, stories and the region’s iconic landscapes. Acadian artists and artisans worked hand in hand with the teams at the Pays de la Sagouine and Moment factory on the completion of the night walk. Measuring 1.5 km in length, the Lumina Night Walk follows a footpath in the wooded area near the Pays de la Sagouine on the main land, and be accessible to the public after nightfall. The whole family is invited to discover the Lumina experience, which prolongs the Pays de la Sagouine season from mid-May to mid-October.

The Pays de la Sagouine Lumina experience will take place even if it rains. Trees help control the flow of water through the forest. We suggest you bring a raincoat (ponchos are for sale at our boutique). Umbrellas are forbidden, as they hinder the experience for other participants.
